So here they are!!! Two blue eggs hatched 2 weeks later. Amazing to see how dad brings food to mom who passes it along to babies. Even more amazed that my dogs could care less. :)
Ugh. That has made me feel so sad and defeated. So many people express an interest in being anti-racist or feminist, but someone can just breeze in and literally say that cartoon mice are more like white British men than an Asian American woman, and the same folks just chat them up like we’re all here having the nicest little dinner party.
I’ve refused to leave the fandom because I haven’t wanted to reward a bunch of racists with the pleasure of an all-white space, but with that I’m out.
A little note of thanks to all the people who’ve given me things to think about or a laugh.
